Question: Do you sell the murtis by the weight in gold or silver?
Answer: No. These murtis are special works of art. The prices vary according to the intricacy and detail of each individual murti or art piece. Question: What are these idols/statues/murtis made of?
Answer: The idols/statues/murtis are made up of cultured (powdered) marble with 24k gold or 99.9% silver electro-plated on top. The plating of precious metals (silver or gold) not only makes these beautiful and expressive, but also make these last for long time to come. Question: Where can I buy your product from?
Answer: You can buy it online or look for a store near you in the "Store Locator" section in the bottom menu. Question: I am outside USA, how can I buy your product?
Answer: Yes, we ship international. we have shipped to France, Germany, Canada and other countries as well. For shipments to India, we ship it directly from India. For all ther countries, we ship from US to the buyer\'s country. Please follow standard checkout process and choose international shipping options with your address. The right shipping prices will be calculated directly based on your shipping priority. Most items do not fall under categories that have custom duties. However, customs always has right to open the packages and contact the receiving party. The buyer needs to deal with customs, in case they contact the buyer. Question: I would like to see your products in person before buying. How do I see them?
Answer: You can try finding a local retailer in your area in the Store Locator section. You can also look at the zoomed in image on the product web page. We provide full refund in case you do not like the product when you see it in person. So, be assured while shopping at our online store. Question: Why are these more expensive compared to brass of wooden idols?
Answer: Certainly there is an extra cost in plating these idols with silver and/or gold. With the prices of silver and gold going up, the cost of the idols has also gone up. However, since you cannot take the gold or silver out of these idols, there has to be another reason why you want to buy these idols. The reason is the craftsmanship and the beauty of these idols. Brass and wooden idols do not even come close to expressions in these idols. Also, there has always been significance of precious metal used in Indian religious art work. Question: Why should I purchase these idols compared to pure silver or gold idols available at most Indian jewelers?
Answer: We get this question asked very often. The answer is - place the pure silver idols with single tone silver that will go black when oxidized next to our idols. You will not be able to take your eyes off our idols. We also provide lifetime warranty of the finish to stay same and not get black if oxidized. How? Because we have an invisible protective layer on top which does not let silver come in direct contact with oxygen in the air. Besides, the pure silver or gold idols are so small because of affordability factor that you can only put them in temple for worship, but cannot use them as a decorative artwork creating an Indian ambience in your house.

Returns
Question: Can I return an item if I dont like it?
Answer: We accept returns within 15 days from the purchase as long as the items are in the original packing and undamaged. Jewelry items can only be returned within 10 days from purchase. Jewelry should be unworn and tag must not be remved for returns. Proper return packing and shipping is your responsibility. After we receive the item back without product or packaging damages, we will refund full amount including the sales tax. The original shipping fee is not refunded. Question: What is the process to return an item?
Answer: Email us with the order number and the reason why you want to return the item. We will send you an RMA# that you have to use while you ship your returning merchandise. Shipping, insurance and packing for return shipping is customer\'s responsibility. If the product box is damaged, but the product is intact, you will get 80% of the refund. If the product is damaged due to mishandling, the refund will be not be issued. You will get the refund back in 2 business days after we receive the item in undamaged condition and original box.
Shipping
Question: How long does it take to ship items and how much do you charge?
Answer: We provide three options of shipping: USPS Express (1-2 days), USPS Priority and USPS Parcel Post.We ship from Northern California. The actual shipping charges for all three optons are shown at the time of the check out and are based on the actual wieght of the items to be shipped. Question: Do you offer shipping insurance?
Answer: All items shipped include shipping insurance. There is no extra cost for shipping insurance. Question: How fast do you ship the items?
Answer: The items are shipped within 1-2 business days after the purchase is made. Question: Do I get a tracking number for shipped items?
Answer: If you choose USPS Express or Priority, we will mail you the tracking number as soon as the article is shipped. Other shipping options do not have a tracking number facility.
